The new page is also designed to remove comments, flag comments for spam or abuse, give a thumb up, or click over to the video watch page and reply. There will also be able to click through to access the watch page of videos commented on.

YouTube creators noticed an unfavorable increase in comment spam, among other things, forcing YouTube to issue a service-wide update that would fix the problem. YouTube also promised to issue more updates in the future for managing comments. With today’s update, however, YouTube has launched an improved comment management experience.

Google is also set to add some new options to the comment management page, including replying inline or expanding all replies. These new options will be available within the new page in a near future.

“How did Interflora turn their ban in 11 days? Can you explain what kind of penalty they had, how they fixed it, as some of us have spent months trying to clean things up after an unclear GWT notification?”

Interflora is a major UK flower site that was hit by a Google penalty early this year, but Google didn’t call out this company publicly, after the reports of penalty came out, the company wrote a blog post warning people not to engage in the “buying and selling of links.”

Matt Cutts proceeds to try and answer the question in more general terms “Google tends to looking at buying and selling links that pass page rank as a violation of our guidelines and if we see that happening multiple times then the action that we take more and more severe. We’re more willing to take stronger action whenever we see repeat violation.”

Cutts says “It’s not something that I would typically recommend for everybody to disavow every link that you’ve gotten for a period of years-but certainly when people start over with completely new websites they have bought-we have seen a few cases where people will disavow every single link because they truly want to get a fresh start.”

In other words, if you’re willing to go to such great lengths and eliminate such a big number of links, Google is going to notice.

If you’ve got links from some very spammy forum or something like that, rather than trying to identify the individual pages, that might be the opportunity to da a ‘domain:’ . So if you’ve got a lot of links that you think are bad from a particular site, just go ahead and do ‘domain:’ and the name of that domain.  Don’t try to pick the individual links because you might be missing a lot

Just pull up your phone and say to Google: “Tell me the Expressionist artists”. You will see who the artists are and you can dive in to learn more about each of them and explore their most famous works. If you want to switch to Abstract artists, you can do that really easily with our new filter tool”.

The way Google is trying to build information about real world connections is by building a knowledge Graph. For example if we do a search for a famous person, it collect relevant data about them, such as their date of birth, how tall they are. One of the first features that are introduced which applies knowledge Graph is a panel next to the web results. On both the desktop and mobile devices, you can do searches.

Let’s say wanted to learn about the most important Renaissance painters, you might search for “Leonardo Da Vinci” because he is the only Renaissance painter you know about. Now you’ll see information right in the search results that helps you to explore broader topic of Renaissance painters. You’ll see the most famous paintings from that era, like the Mona Lisa and discover other painters at that time like Michelangelo and Raphael.

Google’s Amit Singhal says that “We keep expanding features of the knowledge graph so it can answer more questions-even those don’t have a simple answer. Our new comparison tool gives you new insights by letting you compose new answer.”

Google will soon launch an update to the Google search app for iPad and iPhone that will provide Now-based reminder notifications across devices. Google is also launching a new design for mobile search results and ads.

So what can we expect from the Android 4.4 Kitkat? Well, Google was elusive in a statement: “It’s our goal with Android Kitkat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody”

As far as release date and timing, there’s been rumors floating around the net’s that Google could be planning to unveil the Nexus 5 as early as October and with that, the next version of Android 4.4 kitkat in the process.

Earlier, the download sample links report downloaded a sampling of links in alphabetical order and stopped after a maximum of 100,001 links, it wasn’t that useful to users when they could get so many results from a single domain and there was no way to sort them.

Now the sampling of links is not done in alphabetical order, instead it is ordered in alphabetical order but rather it is now “sampled uniformly from the full spectrum of backlinks” said Google.

Shortly, when you download your data, you’ll notice a much broader, more diverse cross-section of links. Site owners looking for insights into who recommends their content will now have a better overview of those links and will find easier to see where to spend their time and effort.
